So I got an early birthday present…

I saw an ad for wood flooring, and I looked down at my dreaded carpet and sighed. Carpet is so lame, especially when you have a fire place. Plus carpet doesn’t fit the whole library feel I’m going for in my living room. So like any good home owner I calculated how much it would cost in install wood flooring in my house, it was way to expensive to even remember. Then I had an epiphany, Why not pull up the carpet and see what’s underneath. I tear at the carpet to my utter delight, there is beautiful mahogany finished wood flooring underneath the carpet. I shouted with joy, then got mildly frustrated. What moron put in the effort necessary to cover up such beautiful wood? Makes absolutely no sense. Needless to say as soon as I get some free time, the carpet is coming up, and the sanding and re-staining is on, and oh yes before and after pictures will be posted.
I must be turning 25 on Sunday, because when thoughts of remodling and buying drapes to match get me this excited surley young adulthood is setting, dawning a new era; adulthood…
