Random Rantings Friday
I have been trying to at least rant randomly once every other Friday. Things are busy around here with the fast. By busy I mean going so well that I haven’t wanted to write anything, just talk to Jesus. So boo ya! here it is

Carrie and I stayed up all day on on Sunday, neither of us having slept since that Saturday morning. We drove to Lawrence Kansas, and wondered the coffee shop, bookstore littered streets until delirium sat in. It was a fabulous time.
550 slaves were liberated in China! As we fight against human trafficking in the Prayer room we are seeing the results of our prayers in the news. Praise God! (and I mean that with all sincerity… it’s not just Christian ease to me.)
Speaking of Christian ease, I find the more time I spend in prayer and before the Lord, those things that were once “Christian ease” have become sincere statements. When I meet someone I always say, “bless you”, but I’m mean it with all my heart when I say it. It’s a shame they don’t believe my sincerity.
I grew up in a mega-Church called Word of Grace. I pray for “WOG” every day. I love the pastor there dearly. Gary Kinnaman is a great teacher, and author. Daily I pray that the Father of Glory would enlighten his eyes. You watch for revival at a church in Mesa Arizona called Word of Grace. “the prayers of the righteous avileth much”.
Many random web surfers have been viewing a post I wrote a few months ago about the subject of loosing your salvation. I entitled the post part one but never wrote part two. However with the increased interest, I plan to post part two. read part one here: (link)
So we’ve been watching the water boil the last 2 years. Fatah has been overrun in Gaza by Hamas. Is any one surprised? Romans 10:1 is my response to the news.
My boy McCain has pretty much ruined any chance at getting the GOP Nod. He trumpeted his “increase the troops in Iraq” doctrine a little to loud. Proverbs is very clear as to why the situation in Iraq will never work out, and why I’ve always said it was a bad idea: Proverbs 26:17 “Whoever meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a passing dog by the ears.” once you grab on, good luck letting go without getting bitten.
My computer is in the worst shape ever. One of my wonderful interns (Joeseph Redmon, an amazing young man) bought me a neon green Belkin case that literally holds my laptop together. It works, it’s just on of the most Ghetto rigged contraptions you’ve ever seen. I’m grateful to have it.
I shaved off my beard this week for the first time in 3 years. It felt really weird. So much so that regrowth is already on it’s way.
J and I go into the other IHOP (International House of Pancakes) just about every morning. We don’t always eat, or get something, (money restraints) but we go. We’ve made friends with the staff there and are working on getting the whole place saved. It’s a lofty goal, but one we’re bent on achieving.
Randy is blogging again!!! I had no idea until he linked a story of mine today. Very sneaky Mr. Bohlender… Don’t forget about our TED deal! One of us is getting in, and it’ll be grand.
When I was 19 I made friends with a Popular Radio Disc Jockey named Greg Simms. I was just a kid, don’t know why he let me hang around but he did. He was way cool, and is now in one of my coveted fields; Voice Over. I got a great radio voice!
I’ll close you out with this. Today My sister, and her friend Lacey, went to a restaurant called Tomfooleries. I ate when of the weirdest burgers I’ve ever had there. It was a Peanut Butter Bacon Burger. One of the strangest things ever… however quite good. Who woulda thought!
I’m out like Bush’s immigration bill.

You shaved your beard!!!???!!! I can’t believe it, and by the time i get back it will be back…by the way, i’m in Arizona at the moment! In phoenix. Then i go to Calli…it’s 108 degrees here. So not sure if you heard but, Matt and i are dating now! Let’s go out to coffee when i get back. We need to have a chat. Ok, love ya like you were my big brother! wait…you are. lol
Lydia how are you gonna go to my home town and not tell me!?? You’re making me homesick!
What is this about you and Matt? Yes we definately need to go on a brother sister date very soon. I’m happy for you guys. I like both of you. However tell Matt he needs to chat with me… I have to have a another talk with him… it’ll be good though I like him
man I’m glad you commented, I’m dish’n out some killer stuff here with no responses… Yo peeps holla if you hear, nam say’n!? where you at!? (yes I’ve got a little ghetto in me that likes to creep out every now and then!)
we don’t know if we agree with your assesment on the war in Iraq not being our quarrel. We were attacked…they were suspect…hindsight is 20/20…but at the time the dog had already bitten. Ecclesiastes 3.
@ stumpy and still
thank you for wieghing in your opinion… my response is another proverb… Prov. 17:14
