I love getting hooked up!

So this morning in the prayer room. I have been here trying to pray for the last hour and a half since 6am. One problem though, I’m tired and don’t care right now. whaaaat? Don’t care? Yep, don’t worry it’s not sin to feel tired and uninterested in prayer from time to time, in fact I believe it’s normal. Doesn’t mean I don’t pray, just means that it’s hard. But I don’t pray because I feel like it, I pray because he’s worthy.

Anyway as I’m staring at the same verse in I Peter 5 trying to ask the Holy Spirit for some type of understanding as I’ve read it 50 times in the last 30 minutes. Comprehenssion is hard when all you really want to do is go back to bed or maybe hook up an espresso I.V. (they should really look into inventing those)

Then I had the little break through I needed. This guy I don’t know, but have seen around the missions base often, walked up to me and offered me his 4 gig jump drive. He said, “Hey I don’t know you but I just got over 1,000 books by Spurgeon, G.K. Chesterson, Edwards and many others if you want to put them on your computer.” This was the energizing boost I needed! He must have known that I was an information/ book junkie because an offering such as this definatly made my day! So if he reads here: thank you sir! I’m really excited about tearing through many of these books later. I have most of them via hard copy. But this will help research so much having them on my computer. There are like 1,284 large text files.

Anyway, I’m excited!

Ok so now back to I Peter 5… and trying to digest what the “unfading crown” that overseers receive is. blessings all!
