Zack- actually you had an imaginary family...the mom was named Judahem
(not sure what that meant) and one of the daughers was named Courtney after the little girl you liked in the Pre-K class. They lived down at the park by our house by the lake. Very vivid imagination!

Have seen Todd numerous times (with and without most of the tatoos)- he has a strong gift of healing on his life. Have seen him have incredible words of knowledge and healing flow. Have heard him preach the message of the Gospel. He is strange, but God uses his life. Haven't watched much of the "revival" but I am glad people are getting stirred up to believe God for healings.

@ Nat- that was funny!

Hey,

Great post. I loved it.

I agree with Rachel in this one concerning Lakeland. Not any angel worship going on there. He talks about angels but so did Paul, Peter and even Jesus. You make great points Zack though in considering how to deal with the body of Christ.

Also, Haybark I suggest you get Mike Bickle's recent teaching series on the 7 Churches of Revelation in order to understand what Zack is talking about. It has quickly become one of the best teachings series I have heard in a long time.

Nat - No need to respond to that. I have yet to read something that you write that makes sense.

Bam Bam Bigelow was a pro-wrestler in the eighties--stocky guy, bald, lots of tatoos. Yeah. A real crowd-pleaser. Don't hear a lot about him nowadays. Hmmm...

Hi Zack,

Having been over to the Lakeland revival, having watching it on TV many, many nights with an discerning heart and mind, coupled with 40 years as a believer, I honestly believe what is happening is of God.

While Todd talks of angels - so does Paul Cain, Paul Keith Davis, Rick Joyner, Bob Jones, etc., he does not worship them.

He heals and prays for people in the "name of Jesus of Nazareth." Or, in the name of "Jesus Christ." He exhorts people to believe in God for healing right where they stand. He encourages the people to pray for each other.

He's leads the way to the cross of healing via Jesus. He's preached the Gospel and prays for salvation.

No, he doesn't preach from the Word every night, but I say that most churches preach from the Word every week and Never, ever have a healing or deliverance, a sign or wonder.

"These signs follow them who believe..."

Should we preach? YES!!!! I'm a Word gal. But why do we default to it? There's teaching a-plenty in the American church.

Miracles a few.

Let God do what He wants. If this isn't Him, He loves us enough to shut it down.

My thoughts? He loves us enough to offend our paradigm and religiousness. Enough to look down and the hurting and in-pained and heal them.

In our local churches, we are seeing an increased hunger for God. For His glory and purpose. We are seeing healings and renewed hearts.

Can't see a hunger for God being anything other than God revealing God.

Catch the wave. It's a fun ride with Jesus! :)

Blessings, Rachel

Yeah, it's all over but the cryin', she might as well get on with it. the dems have decided to go with the fresh vision/face/policies of Obama from what I read yesterday. They have wearied of the Clinton leadership in the party. they say, "time for a change" as well. that puts me a little on edge, personally, with the voter turnout and all being what it was this time around. Too many republicans will sit this one out, as they have done with the primaries. (not that I am for any one party, just stating my opinion on what I have seen thus far) I generally don't get worked up about too much when it comes to politics, but there is something that turns a knot of apprehension/fear in my gut when I think of Obama getting into office.

Absolutely ludicrous. that stuff gets my dander up quick- aaaghh! Get over it! Sue the city for that: how do they even let a claim like that get filed in the first place, let alone let it come before the bench?!

Your own office huh? Sweeeet! It is great to see how the Lord is prospering what your doing Zack. Bless him Lord!

I was kinda surpised at the manifesto seeing it came out of Washington and all. I was expecting this bleached out representation of the gopel or something. I think they have done well to try and at least tackle some tough issues and bring some definition to the lines. Not my bag, glad somebody is doing it.

The artifact finding was my first thought too.

Bob newheart, that's funny. I didn't think you were that old.

What do you mean by Jesus's dealings with the seven churches in connection with the revival and supposed misconduct? Other than the fact that He was "in the midst of the candlesticks" (He was not apart from them) I don't quite get what your saying. Not trying to ressurect that old dead horse or anything, but i wanted to understand your thoughts here.

Peace!
