Can men of God write and spell as well as others, I say, not really, we need the Lord's inspiration to share the best things that come from the heart. That is why we have a God and need a God. Jesus our source for love and provision. When he came to earth he came to serve the same manna, angels feed him after his 40 days in the wilderness were over, it got him on his feet, and it can get us going again, too. On our way home to heaven. Jesus ascended up into heaven for the gifts of grace he would soon give to be ours. May they reach all your hearts in all so many ways. For they are gifts that abound with tremedous appeal for those that seek to serve his will.

It is amazing to me, that Zack likes allen's preaching but doesn't do that himself...I pray that he does, since allen gets letters from me, that zack doesn't get, hopefully he doesn't delete a brother in christ letter of Grace, if he does the one and not the other, a hypocrite would be, and a viper enemy to the christians of Ireland...if Patrick was still there to just wipe them out, in jesus name as well.

Sincerely, Rev. Nate Love Missionary Saint

Yeah i think your assuming to much. Excessive movie watching can indeed not be helpful for a believer. For instance a guy struggling with lust or pornography has the power to overcome in the blood but it's probably not wisdom for him to go watch Charlie's Angles. In the same way that a recovering alcoholic shouldn't go to a liquor store to buy a stick of gum. He can get gum at the grocery store. It's just a wisdom thing, not a slavation or no salvation thing.

He's talking about pastors who use movies as the basis of their messages (i.e. Wild at Heart by John Eldrigde- decent book and helpful to many men I know. but wouldn't call it Christian as his premise is not the Bible but manhood based on 3 different movies.)

Spurgeon said this once, and says it better than I can articulate: "Jesus sees a beauty in his church, a beauty which he delights in most when it is not marred by worldliness. He has always been most near and precious to his saints when they have cheerfully taken up his cross and followed him without the camp. His Spirit is grieved when they mingle themselves among the people and learn their ways. No great and lasting revival of religion can be granted us till the professed lovers of Jesus prove their affection by coming out from an ungodly world, being separated, and touching not the unclean thing. For he is thy Lord; and worship thou him. "

Pastors preaching movie based sermons doesn't teach people to glorify God but Hollywood. That's all. For some it can be a form of idolatry. Mark Driscoll has a good message on that could "modern idolatry. Not saying no one can watch movies... we just need to be mindful of what we as image barrers of the living God put in front of our eyes.

(I walked out of Ironman during a scene in the beginning for that very reason... all four times. Would it have been better to just not watch the movie at all? I'm open to that conclusion. I don't always do it right. But that's the point)

Jarrod is definitely a comic book geek. Hmmm. I don't know. Mr. Hood didn't seem too fond of pastors who advocate excessive movie watching. Honestly, I didn't quite get that point.

Hey Nat have you seen the new Ironman? I've seen it 4 times already, great flick! I'm kind of a comic book geek can't wait for the whole Avengers series... Hulk comes out next week and I'm still the righteousness of Christ. So maybe Jarrod will make it in... but depends does he like John Cusak movies? Because if he doesn't, he might not be allowed in!

Repentance and belief characterize our active Christianity. I was fine with Mr. Hood's message until the bit about the 'open heaven' at the end. Have a really hard time with that sort of teaching. Oh, I hear that you've contacted one of my colleagues with an invitation. Perhaps he will get to hear a message from Mr. Hood in the flesh. I don't know if he could make it into the holy club though, he watches a lot of movies.
