I love my woman- here is yet another reason
So I could go on and on about many things about Carrie. Including her beauty. She IS the most beautiful
woman I’ve ever known. My stomach still drops to the floor when I see her.
But this morning was yet another reason why I love her: she is smarter than me.
The last couple of days I’ve been meditating on, and studying the Preeminence of Christ. Specifically how Jesus never suspended his deity when he came to the Earth. So this morning over coffee, I pull out my Bible and talk to her about my questions, and things I’m thinking through. She then gives me a 15 minute break down through out the New Testament about his Preeminence. She brings all the verses I had been researching , and brings light to them I had never thought of.
I’m astounded. I start asking her more questions. Suddenly I’m the student taking notes, and she’s the teacher. Brilliant! Her understanding of the Word blows my mind. I love that about her. She makes my heart want to know Jesus more. She makes my heart want to know the Word more. I love her!
Quite often Mike (Bickle) comes over to me in the Prayer room and says to me: “You know you are marrying like way up right? How did you do it? She is incredible!” I can only smile back. Because it’s the truest statement in the Earth.
I am so blessed by God to be gaining such a wonderful, wise, beautiful, God fearing woman. She is the testimony to my life that God is good. She is a testimony to my life that God is faithful.
Guys a bit of advice, (as echoed by my friend Randy Bohlender) Marry up! gotta Marry up!

Musta been God ordained! What a blest man you are. But then, I wonder if when God made Eve He took the smart brain cells and gave them to woman. My wife has absolutely blown me away when we have talked about the scriptures, and for that matter, other issues as well. Har! Har!

I love my son! esp when I see posts like this. We are so blessed to have Carrie in our family, she is far above what we could have asked or believed God for Zack. May you always submit to one another and love one another out of reverance for Christ.

In this world of disposable everything, including relationships, it’s good to hear you say this. I can still say the same about my lovely wife after 25 years together. Just keep this in mind, while she is a great gift from God, she will also be your greatest cross. Keep in mind Our Lord’s example, take up your cross and lovingly carry it behind Him.

It looks like Carrie is also very blessed to have married a man who recognizes her gifts, honors her womanhood, and loves her enough to express these things to her. What a very tender and heart-warming post.

For sure…Carrie is awesome…I am super pumped for you..for the wedding..and ummmm really happy that Z and J will always be Z and J even though Z and C will begin Z and J will continue but you will be ZC and I will be J until I meet someone and then we add her first name first letter next to my J and then we both can say ZC and J?
