Operation 34: day 1 and 2
Operation 34 (as in pants size 34) has been a sweet run these last two days. It has been hard but I have courage to continue.
One thing I’ve really noticed is that planning matters. Planning REALLY matters. This is where my wife has saved me. On Monday I did good during the first part of the day, but come Noon I was starving. With no healthy options around I grabbed 2 apples and hoped it’d suffice during the string of meetings I had. Not so.
30 minutes in I was so hungry I swear my stomach was turning into a vicious carnivore. It growled and rumbled as if it was positioning itself to snack on one of the other organs around it for sustinance. Just as my stomach began to bite done on a kidney, I heard my Blackberry buzzing next to me. To my, and my kidney’s delight, my wife had made me a delicious lunch and was bringing it to me at my office. She had made a lettuce wrap with organic turkey bacon, colby cheese, yellow peppers, spinach, and a dion sauce that was soo good. Needless to say I and my other vital organs survived.
Check back later for an update about today. I feel good, but have to teach a class, and interview more people for ATC, which is in 4 weeks!! For the record I have interviewed over 160 people and have hired about 100. Life is busy, but oh so good!

Amazing! You really should give your wife full, loving authority in the realm of what you eat Zack.
